The project

A complete outdoor transformation.

Shaw’s Construction brought grading, drainage, concrete and landscaping together around this home. The early photos show a muddy yard with standing water; the finished views show a curved driveway, a front walkway, rock borders and lawn.

The construction photos show how the work came together: material delivery and grading, drainage pipe installation, concrete forms and reinforcement, grated channels and a timber retaining edge.

What the work included.

Site preparation & grading

Material delivery and ground preparation around the home established the areas for the drainage, concrete and landscaping work.

Connected drainage work

Below-ground pipework, downspout connections, wrapped drainage lines and grated channels were installed across the project.

Concrete & retaining edges

Concrete work included a curved driveway, a front walkway and a slab beside the home, with a timber retaining edge along part of the finished area.

Rock borders & lawn

Stone edging, rock borders and lawn brought the outdoor areas together around the new concrete surfaces.
